FFA, FCCLA, and SkillsUtah MMHS Students Visit MGMS

The CCA classes at MGMS had the honor of having Maple Mountain High School students present about FFA, FCCLA, and the SkillsUSA student organizations.  Students will be able  to join a student organization in Jr High and High School.  Our students made butter from cream, learned about taking care of animals, learned about how needed trades skills are such as welding and construction, they also learned about how being a part of these groups will help them be a better member of society and have stronger families in the future.  Thanks Maple Mountain High School for coming

MGMS claims top 6th and 7th grade teams @ 3rd Annual Nebo Middle/Junior High Math Tournament

On Saturday, December 9th, nearly one hundred mathletes in grades 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th gathered to compete in the 3rd annual Nebo Math Tournament.  Students competed in two individual rounds and one team round covering topics in Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Number Theory.
