Ms. Deena McClellan's Dance students attended The Nutcracker on Monday, December 11th performed by Utah Metropolitan Ballet. Everyone had a fun time watching the ballet and getting into the Christmas spirit.

Angela Harman, Maple Grove’s fantastic orchestra teacher, held a concert Monday night with the orchestra I and orchestra II students from Maple Grove Middle School.  Students entertained the audience with wonderful Christmas carols from all over the world.  The students definitely helped us all feel the Christmas Spirit!

LeAnn Miller's 6th grade history class was given the opportunity to create a project from any world history time period.  Here are some of the amazing projects that were created!  

Maple Grove was excited to welcome Mr. Diehl and the choir from Mapleton Junior High School. They came by to get Mrs. Holly Mayne's choir students in the Christmas spirit as they shared some of their favorites with the class.  It was so fun to have our previous students visit and show the current students what choir looks like at the next level!  Thanks MJHS!

Thanks so much to the Nebo Foundation who provided a grant to our ELD specialist, Kristee Christensen and our Librarian, Shauna Mundinger.  Their grant will purchase books for our multilingual students and give more book titles to the student at Maple Grove.  Mrs. Christensen and Mrs. Mundinger were very grateful for this grant!  

For the next two weeks we will be having spirit week with different activities each day! Student council will be handing out treats to those who participate!

Oh, What Fun - we are having at Maple Grove as the teachers participated in a door decorating contest.  Here are the winners - but there were so many good ones!  Thanks student council for choosing the winners!

Today students at Maple Grove were entertained by students from Mapleton Junior High's Band and Orchestra who played some holiday favorites for the students here at the Grove. Students were even able to sing along to a medley of songs during the final number.  We appreciate the junior high students and their teachers for getting us in the Christmas Spirit!
