Auditions for Matilda Jr are finally here! The auditions will take place on December 4th & 5th. If you are interested in auditioning for the school musical Matilda Jr, there is an audition workshop today Friday December 1st, from 3:15-4:30pm. At this workshop you will learn what is needed for your audition and get some great tips on how to get the part that you want! If you have any questions stop by Mrs. Limb’s classroom, room 1102.
We were very excited to have our Native American Club put on an assembly for all 7th Graders to help us celebrate Native Heritage Month. Thirteen students from Maple Grove plus some of their siblings and other members of their tribe came in the regalia and taught us about their culture, their dances, and shared some legends from their tribes. It was so fun to learn with them about their heritage.
The Maple Mountain High School girls basketball team are honoring the future Eagles of Maple Grove. This past week Gracie Rogers was the spotlighted player with the high school team! Gracie loved being a part of the varsity team for a night! She gave a great speech to the girls to get them excited for the game! Go Eagles!
There are a lot of items that have been left by students. They are presently on tables outside the office. Please look through the pictures and if there are items that you recognize, please have your student pick it up or you can grab it on parent-teacher conference night on November 30th. All unclaimed items will be donated on December 1st!
We had such a wonderful time honoring the amazing veterans who came to visit Maple Grove Middle School. We want to extend a special thanks to Jared Baker, Jake Brandt, Steve Lundquist and James Peterson for sharing their stories of being active in the military and for teaching us all what it means to serve our country. We thank you all for spending your morning with us!
