Sierpinski Triangle
Students in Shauna Mundinger's library created a Sierpinski Triangle. What is that, you ask? A Sierpinski Triangle is a fractal based on an equilateral triangle. It is made by dividing the triangle into four smaller triangles, removing the central triangle, and then repeating for each of the three remaining triangle. Here are the students with their amazing creation!

After finishing the slideshow, students are recording a reading of their original scary story that will be shared during class on Friday for a spooky Halloween story party!

Halloween Concert - Orchestra
Angela Harman held an Orchestra concert at Maple Grove Middle School. It is the first concert to be held at our school. The students all dressed in costume and entertained the guests with songs from both Orchestra 1 - students who have just been playing since school started in August and Orchestra 2 - students who have had some experience. The audience had a great time and enjoyed songs that included audience participation.
