DoorDash delivery in STEM class!

Submitted by kate.elliott on

Students have been using the Engineering Design Process to build a cart that can be pushed or pulled by a Sphero Robot.  Students then have to code a delivery route around the classroom to drop off their DoorDash orders of gummy hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, and cola. This was such a fun project!

Nebo School District held its first K-12 District Dance Festival Tuesday, April 26th at Cherry Creek Elementary in Springville. The purpose of the festival was to bring Nebo K-12 dance students and teachers together to appreciate and celebrate the growing presence of dance education in the district, and to create a stronger vertical alignment for all Nebo dance programs.  Ms. McClellan's Dance 2 class participated and had an unforgettable performance! This past Saturday five Maple Grove Middle School students (Beckett Mickelson, Caleb Adams, Ashleigh Oliver, Rachel Petersen and Brayden Briggs) participated in the 2022 Utah State MATHCOUNTS Competition in Salt Lake City for grades 6-8. They were invited to compete based on their exceptional performance in previous 2022 MATHCOUNTS competitions. About 80 students from throughout the state attended the competition so to be invited was quite the accomplishment and represents our school well.
