The Maple Grove Math Team recently competed at BYU. MGMS had the largest number of students from any school. The team got 2nd place overall out of 10 teams, narrowly losing to a team of all 8th graders from Springville Junior High. We also had 4 students in the top 12 individually, led by Caleb Adams who got 1st place overall, then Brayden Briggs in 5th, Ashleigh Oliver in 10th and Ian Farr in 11th. The second place team finish likely means an invitation to the State competition in SLC in March. We are so proud of our team!
