Last week band students participated in their final concert for the year. It was such a fun and amazing night to see all of the different bands play! The Maple Grove students did an amazing job! We appreciate directors Joshua Hurst, Mikae Osborn and Preston Gilbert for all of their hard work to create this program!
All seventh grade students were invited to attend the CTE expo at the fairgrounds in Spanish Fork. Students had the opportunity to see many things that high school CTE students had been working on. Students saw drift trike races, had a chance to learn about airplanes, engineering, woodworking and many other fields. They also got to see the Air Med Helicopter land and learn about a large machinery and emergency vehicles. Students had a great time!
Monday night Angela Harman’s orchestra classes performed for an enormous audience. Students demonstrated their amazing musical talents. These students have worked very hard and it is incredible to see the growth that these students have made since they began. Listen as they play The Final Countdown!

For Fun Friday in Mrs. Hannah Nelson's class, students learned about different scientific root words and their meanings. Students then created a root monster based on various different words of their choosing and then drew their monsters! Students also wrote stories about their monsters!
The 6th graders in Mrs. Mickelson's art class learned how to carve and make their own stamps. They each created a stamp that had a positive message and made many prints of it. Students then passed out their kind notes with a little message or slipped them into their peers' lockers hoping to brighten someone's day.
