Students make connection about the size of their planets and the scale of the solar system.
Students use the scale to hang their solar systems in the hallways of MGMS

Katie Miller's class learned about the scale of the solar system by creating the planets.  Clark Planetarium also joined Mrs. Miller's class to discuss the scale of the solar system and the students learned distance of the planets based on their size and hung them in the halls of Maple Grove Middle School
