After months of engineering the Robotics Club competed in the Utah Underwater Robotics competition Thursday. Students designed the frame of their ROVs, soldered the circuitry and waterproofed everything to complete tasks in the pool. Two of our MGMS teams were recognized for their work. The Mark Rovers won “Most Innovative Design” and the Backstreet Boys won the “Team Spirit” award.
We’re having our last PTA Spirit Night of the year on March 27th at Mod Pizza Monday 27, 2023!
MGMS will be closed during Spring Break. School will resume Monday, April 10th.
A huge thank you to all the families, students & teachers of MGMS for supporting the annual PTA fundraiser.
Because of the large amount of participation, the PTA is providing donuts to the top 8, first period classes. The top 8 classes ALL had over 60% participation in the fundraiser.
The top 4 classes to return their envelopes were: P. Thompson 87% participation, Mickelson 71%, Carr 71%, Harman 70%. Other classes that will get donuts next Tuesday are: K. Miller 69%, Hurst 69%, Nielson 68%, Beebe 63%.
