Join us for a PTA fundraiser at Kneaders on Monday January 30, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 pm!  

Maple Grove had it second annual science fair.  Teacher Heidi Broderick ran an after school club for any student interested in competing in the fair.  Many students submitted amazing projects.  We appreciate the many hours that students labored to make these amazing projects. We also appreciate all of the judges who came to talk with students about their projects.   Several students will be moving on to the district fair which will be held February 8th for 7th graders and February 9th for sixth graders!  Way to go scientists! 

The CCA classes at MGMS have been focusing on the Information Technology and Computer Science Career Cluster the last few weeks. Employment in Computer and Information Technology occupations is projected to grow 15% from 2021 to 2031. Much faster than the average for all other career clusters so the future looks bright for students if they choose this Career path. Students have been learning how to block code into a Sphero Robot and challenged with programming their Robot to follow a specific path where they had to apply geometry, speed, and time.

Elizabeth Hora, Utah's public archaeologist from the Utah State Historic Preservation office, visited Mr. Beebe's classroom on January 12, 2023.  Mr.

Auditions for the school play will be on January 24th and January 25th.  All students at MGMS are welcome to try out.  Choose only one day to audition.  If you would like to audition, there is a Canvas Course for you!  See the attached file for more information. 

Nebo Community School classes are here. The classes will begin in January, so join a class to help those winter blues. This is an amazing opportunity to expand your horizons and improve your abilities. The goal of the Community School Program is to meet the needs and interests of the people in the community. There are many course options to choose from, recommendations are encouraged. We would love to see you there!
