Mrs. Tonia Ivie is the register at Maple Grove and this year’s classified employee of the year. She is so deserving of this honor. Here are some of the things those who work closest to her have said about her.
Mrs. Ivie is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. She is always there to listen In any situation, and has great advice. She is always willing to drop anything to help us out front on our crazy days. She is so kind to all the kids and genuine in all circumstances.
Maple grove wouldn't be the same without Tonia here with us. Thanks for being my friend , I love you !
Tonia is a breath of fresh air every time you talk to her. She is so sweet and kind and always makes you feel like you are the most important person in the room. She always offers a helping hand in any way she can and is the hardest worker. She is such a great example of a team player. Any person that walks through the counseling office door is met with Tonia’s smile and she always makes everyone feel welcome. I’ve seen upset kids and parents come in and Tonia always ends up calming the situation and helping them with whatever they need. She is truly the best and we are so lucky she is at Maple Grove!
Tonia is kind and a friend to everyone. She quietly goes about her work and is always willing to help others. She is so willing to play "nurse" when I'm not at the school and kindly takes care of the students.
MGMS would truly not be the same without Tonia! She welcomes parents, comforts distraught students, congratulates students who "reach higher," happily chats with teachers visiting during their prep, conspires with, I mean, works with the counselors, finalizes grades and schedules and so much more. We are so lucky to work with Tonia!
