More than 90 students with 18 teams from Maple Grove Middle School participated in Battle of the Books this past week. We want to congratulate all who participated as they read amazing stories and made new friends. Congratulations to the team that will represent MGMS in the district tournament. The Blue-Footed Bookies with April Christiansen, Evelyn Fife, Bethany Palmer, Ada Dyer, Alex Kim, and Linnea Zitzelberger.
We also want to give a shout out to the team that placed second - The Bobcat Readers with Eliza Baker, Linden Baker, Maggie Davis, Anthony Carlson, Elizabeth Murdock, and Landon Foldaway.
Thanks to the many parent volunteers who contributed their time to ensure another successful Battle of the Books Tournament.
