MGMS Mini-Conferences
October 1 | 3:15β4:30 p.m.
New this year, Maple Grove Middle School will hold Mini-Conferences two weeks before the end of each term. These dedicated support times give students, families, and teachers an opportunity to connect and address concerns before the term comes to an end.
How Can Mini-Conferences Help?
Student Support -Students can stay after school to work with teachers, complete missing assignments, make up work, or receive additional help in areas where they may be struggling.
Parent Support - Parents and guardians can connect with teachers to ask questions about grades, assignments, expectations, or ways they can support their student.
Teacher Outreach - Teachers may also use this time to proactively connect with families of students who are struggling academically, have missing work, or have other areas of concern.
Mini-Conferences are designed to be an open and flexible time for support rather than formal parent-teacher conferences. Families do not need to prepare for a traditional conference. The goal is simply to provide an opportunity for students, parents, and teachers to connect when additional support is needed.
Our goal is to work together to support every student and help them finish each term strong!
